Grain Sheen Logbook publishes guides and takes no enquiries, which this page exists to say plainly.

Keeping Guides Current

Guides are rewritten rather than left to rot. Accuracy is the only thing a reference site has to offer, and a page out of date on a code requirement is worse than no page at all.

This Site Does Not Do the Work

The guides explain painting work; they do not provide it. No booking can be taken here, no price quoted, and no individual firm recommended.

How to Choose a Firm

Readers looking for someone to carry out the work are best served by the ordinary channels. Put the same written specification to every firm, so the prices that come back are actually comparable.
